Hoppers 2026
This year Pixar will release two new movies. You would think Hoppers would take a back seat to Toy Story 5 which is coming out in 3 months, but ticket sales and reviews have been strong for Hoppers. I had no idea what this movie was about and that was probably for the better. There is a good story, but maybe not enough to go around that you want to know much of it beforehand, plus it goes in some interesting directions. There is an environmentalist message to it, which feels pretty common, but they do a decent job with it, and the main story is more about the animals and some people who are involved. It takes a little while to set things up, but then picks up, eventually with a lot of action, and builds up to a big finish. Not great Pixar, but solidly entertaining and well done.
